Mr. Sanjay G. Ubale
Managing Director & CEO
Mr. Sanjay G. Ubale a distinguished IAS Officer with
over twenty years of experience has recently been
appointed as the Managing Director & Chief Executive
Officer of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited.
He has a B.Sc (Physics, Mathematics & Statistics)
from Mumbai University and further on went to do his
Masters in marketing management from Jamnalal Bajaj
Institute of Management, Bombay University and
development studies from the University of Bath, UK.
In his successful career spanning over twenty years,
Mr. Ubale has held may key positions notable amongst
which were: Managing Director of a public sector
undertaking called Maharashtra State Seeds
Corporation, where Mr Ubale was responsible for a
dramatic turnaround. Mr. Ubale was also the
Collector and District Magistrate in Sangli district
of Maharashtra. He was also the Project Director of
the World Bank and DfID assisted Water Supply and
Environmental Sanitation Projects. These two
community-based projects aimed at extending
sustained health benefits to over 600 villages
through improved access to clean drinking water, its
optimum and proper use and finally its safe
disposal.
His last assignment before joining TRIL as MD & CEO
was as Secretary, Special Projects, Government of
Maharashtra which involved creating a vision for the
city of Mumbai and suggesting measures for its
transformation into a world class city. As a result
of this a number of initiatives are underway such as
creation of road & rail infrastructure, housing &
urban renewal projects, development of an
international financial centre & improved governance
frameworks

Mr.Phillie D. Karkaria
Executive Director
Mr. Phillie D. Karkaria is the executive director of
TATA Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL). He
has been working with Tata Sons Limited since 1986,
primarily with their Financial Services Division,
offering corporate advisory services to Tata
companies.
Previously, Mr. Karkaria has also spent 13 years in
the UK, working at the London office of one of the
Big four professional firms, the National Health
Service (NHS) and Standard Telephones and Cables
plc. London. Mr. Karkaria has also spent 2 ˝ years
working as a Management Consultant with Abu Dhabi
National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Mr. Karkaria is a Fellow Member of the Chartered
Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), London
and Associate member of the Institute of Financial
Accountants (AFA).

Mr.Kishore Saletore
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Kishore Saletore is the Chief Financial Officer
of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL).
TRIL is a 100-per cent subsidiary of Tata Sons.
Prior to joining TRIL, Mr Saletore was the
Vice-President, Finance at Tata Teleservices
Limited, where he was responsible for raising equity
and debt funding for the company. He has
participated in, and led, several financing
assignments for the company.
Earlier, he was Vice President – Finance, at Hughes
Telecom India Limited (now Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra)
Limited), where he played an instrumental role in
taking the company public in 2000 through an Initial
Public Offering of approximately US$200 million,
which was then one of the largest IPOs in India.
Mr Saletore has syndicated over US$6 billion in
equity and debt financing through domestic &
international offerings.
Before this, he spent approximately 6 years at ITC
Limited, where he was part of the fund management
team for its investment companies.
Mr. Saletore is a Chartered Accountant and a
graduate of the Indian Institute of Management,
Bangalore

Mr.Sunil B.Shinde
Vice President – Projects
Mr. Sunil B.Shinde is Vice President – Projects at
TATA Realty and Infrastructure Limited. He is a
Civil Engineer from VJTI Mumbai with over 29 years
of experience in Construction Industry wherein he
has mainly worked with leading construction
companies like L&T construction Group and Hindustan
Construction Company.
During his career Mr. Shinde was associated with
construction of various prestigious projects through
L&T-Construction Group & Hindustan Construction
Company, these were:
- Nuclear power (2*1000MW Kudankulam & 2* 220MW
RAPP-Kota)
- Bridges (Naini cable stayed, Nizamuddin Bridge &
Yamuna Bridge)
- Highways (Rajpura-Sirhind 4 laning of NH1)
- Airports ( Visitor’s Lounge / widening of flyover
for IGI airport-Delhi, Runway up-gradation & CATIII
lighting at Delhi),
- Ports / Marine structures (JNPT- for few of the
buildings), 2 km breakwater & pumping stations of
Kudankulam Nuclear power project),
- Hydropower / Irrigation Projects (Devighat-Trishuli
up-gradation in Nepal, Hathanikund canal-Haryana)
Buildings & Industrial structures such as (Nylon
tyre cord project, L&T-Tengel expansion at Powai &
Hazira, HDFC building, Cold rolling mill of Tata
Steel, Colour Coating line of NDIL, Boundry control
points in Iraq etc)
Urban Infrastructure projects like the Metro Rail (
Underground 4 km cut & cover portion in Joint
Venture, Elevated structure of 4 km & at grade
package of 6km) in New Delhi for DMRC). He also
headed the Business Development team of HCC which
secured record business.

Mr.Ratnakar P. Mahajan
Vice President – Business Development
Mr. Ratnakar Pramod Mahajan has joined us as
Vice-President - Business Development, responsible
for business development activities and Land
Aggregation at Tata Realty & Infrastructure Ltd (TRIL).
He has joint TRIL in March 2007 after his 33 years
stint in Voltas Ltd., a Tata Group company.
Mr. Mahajan is a B.Tech (Hons.) from IIT, Kharagpur
and has also done his EDP in Finance from Jamnalal
Bajaj Institute, Mumbai. He has been associated with
the Tata Group for last 34 years, during which he
has handled various assignments in Senior management
capacity such as Operations of the Business
Division; mainly Pumps and Projects division, Civil
Construction division and Property division as well
as other departments like Marketing, Audit,
Administration, Legal, Commercial, etc.
In his last assignment at Voltas, he was Vice
President- Property & Water Management Business. He
was the Profit Centre Head and responsible for
evolving Strategic Business Plan and set directions
for all the above business divisions.
Mr. Mahajan is associated with property development
activities of Voltas Ltd since 1994.

Mr.Rusty J.Treasuryvala
Vice President –Airports
Mr.Rusty J.Treasuryvala is the Vice President –
Airports at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited (TRIL).
He is a qualified commercial pilot with over 31
years of experience in airport operations and
airport management (specially as Airport Director
for 16 years).
As Airport Director of Calcutta, Mumbai and Chennai
airports, he was responsible for the operations and
administration of the entire airport, including
dealings with other airlines and the public. The
post required him to be the Chairman of several
Airport inter-organizational committees, such as:
• Airport Security Committee
• Airport Facilitation Committee
• Cargo facilitation committee
• Bomb threat review committee
As Executive Director (operations) at the
headquarters of Airports Authority of India, New
Delhi, he was responsible for the entire operational
activities of all the Metro airports. He was
responsible for allotment of parking bays to
scheduled and non- scheduled airlines for management
of slot allotment to airlines and for evaluating
passenger opinion surveys to improve ratings for
enhanced customer satisfaction.
In April 2005, He was appointed “Theme Leader” for
the Indo European Union “on security and safety” and
led the Indian delegation to Paris, Manchester and
Toulouse airports.

Mr. G. Anantharaman
Special Advisor to the Chairman
Mr. G. Anantharaman belongs to the Indian Revenue
Service (Income-tax 1968), and has worked in various
senior capacities in the Revenue Service of the
Government of India before retiring as Chief
Commissioner of Income-tax - Mumbai in June 2004.
Mr. Anantharaman has handled several tax fraud cases
and matters relating to tax administration. He was
also one of those who were instrumental in
developing the Anti-Money Laundering Draft
provisions in the Indian context in 1995-96.
Subsequently, on retirement from the Indian Revenue
Service, he joined the Capital Market Regulator,
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), as a
Whole Time Member, in charge of Surveillance,
Investigations and Market Regulations. He continued
to occupy the said position till 13th March, 2008.

Mr. Shirish Ranade
Consultant – Planning & Monitoring.
Mr. Ranade is a Civil Engineer with about 35 years
of experience in engineering management,
construction & planning for various diversified
projects like refinery, petrochemicals, thermal
power plants, five star hotels, convention centre,
IT Parks, cement plants etc.
He has previously worked with L&T for about 30 years
and has also been part of the Public Works Dept.,
Govt. of Maharashtra.

Mr. Sushil Sharma
Consultant – Architecture
Mr. Sushil Sharma is a Consultant for Architecture
and Urban Design projects. He brings with him rich
experience from a developer’s perspective as he has
previously been associated with various leading
developers
